GUC’s Academic Learning Centre provides students with a range of supports in academic communication, including assistance with a variety of styles for academic assignment writing, referencing, note taking and paraphrasing. You can email ALCsupport@guc.edu.au with a quick question or to schedule a meeting for more extensive support.
The ALC also offers a range of workshops during orientation. Please click here for more information
Don’t forget to check your university’s websites for a range of great academic support tools too!
Our partner universities provide extensive academic support to all students. In addition to our tutorials, the GUC offers guidance to students to access and make the most of these and other local supports.
Workshops are offered by the ALC Team on Planning and Organisation; Study Skills; Researching; Academic Writing and Referencing. These occur around orientation and during Term.
The GUC ALC can offer guidance for specific questions, point students to the best help, or work with students referred by academic staff. Students are encouraged to become familiar with the services offered by their university. Should further help be needed with this, students can email ALCsupport@guc.edu.au.
