The Geraldton Institute Inc, trading as the Geraldton University Access Group was formed in February 2000 and has been working to increase access to university education in the region.  This incorporated body is now going through a process of transition and will soon elect a new regionally based board.  At this time the constitution of the Geraldton Institute Inc will also evolve to cover the management of the Geraldton Universities Centre.  The Geraldton University Access Group will no longer trade under this name.
