You should also consider whether the course is fee paying or
whether Commonwealth Supported places are available (formerly HECS),
and whether you are able to defer payment under these schemes. Most
students enrolled in undergraduate degrees at GUC have Commonwealth
Supported Places. Annual student contribution levels are shown in
the table below for students commencing a new full-time course of
study in 2008.

Government allowances are available to eligible students to help
make the financial cost of study more manageable – be sure to read

You may also be eligible for assistance through scholarships, or
your costs may be tax deductible – it’s worth investigating. Student
Services can also provide you with advice on important sources of
financial assistance, including the Commonwealth Government funded
loan scheme for students experiencing financial difficulties.
